His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. At 13 years old, Donaldson began posting YouTube videos under the username "MrBeast6000". His initial content included Let's Plays and videos that estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. In 2017, the "counting up to 100,000" YouTube video became viral. He was 13 years old young and had the handle "MrBeast6000". His first videos were Let's Plays and videos about estimating other YouTubers' wealth. Donaldson recruited his former friends from school to help run the brand when it began to expand. MrBeast the main YouTube channel of Donaldson, a channel, with more than 100 million users, was established in 2022.
