Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many abilities, which included the ability perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain.
